Jonathan Swift's classic tale, about a shipwreck survivor in a land of little people, has been reimagined as a Jack Black comedy.

During a trip to the Bermuda Triangle, Black's signature slacker winds up in the diminutive kingdom of Lilliputia, which he attempts to reshape according to popular culture – namely KISS, Titanic, Star Wars and Guitar Hero.

Black, who also co-produced, is on autopilot here, delivering his standard wacky routine and backed up by comedy veterans like Billy Connolly and Catherine Tate.

This CGI-driven family flick has more in common with Night at the Museum than its esteemed literary source, however its absurd spirit does remain true to the satire inherent in Swift's tale. A 3D version is available on Blu-ray.

STARRING: Jack Black, Billy Connolly, Catherine Tate

DVD Bits: Deleted Scenes // Featurettes // Trailer // Digital Copy

Did You Know...? This film gives no screen credit to Jonathan Swift, who wrote the book on which it is loosely based. Also, the Lilliput palace is in reality Blenheim Palace, which is where Winston Churchill was born.
