Natalie Portman and Ashton Kutcher play friends who first met as teens at summer camp. Over the course of 15 years their lives intersect at pivotal moments, till one morning, the two hook up, thus becoming “friends with benefits” and with all the complications that status brings.

The screenplay, by newcomer Elizabeth Meriwether, features gags bordering on the gross that will help keep lads engaged during this date movie, while the more poignant moments are nicely handled by the appealing leads.

It’s been a long time since Ghostbusters for veteran comedy director Ivan Reitman, and with his last film being the dire My Super Ex-Girlfriend, we're happy to report this romcom marks a return to form.

An honest examination of the urges and hang-ups that keep people from commitment.
