The enterprising Taylor Lautner has even formed his own production company for the solo action vehicle, Abduction. Lautner plays a teen outcast who discovers his parents are not who they say they are, and soon, shadowy agents are chasing him down.
The teen protagonist and his love interest, Lily Collins, are surrounded by grown ups who know more than they let on, including his therapist (Sigourney Weaver), and his father (Jason Isaacs).
John Singleton (2 Fast 2 Furious) knows how to shoot an action scene and get the best out of his star when in fast motion. It’s when the pace slows that Lautner looks uncomfortable, but his many female fans won’t mind just watching him catch his breath.
Extras: • Abduction Chronicle • Action Hero • The Fight for Truth • Gag Reel • Abduction Application (Blu-ray only).
STARRING: Taylor Lautner
Did You Know...? Writer Shawn Christensen said that the story for the film was taken from a single idea of a teenager who sees a photo of himself on a missing persons website. He completed the first draft in two months.

Subject: Abduction
I was wrong.
But there were some positives to the movie, such as Jason Isaacs character who did a really great job portraying Taylor Lautner's father but did not have enough screen time at all. Some of the action scenes were fun and engaging.
Now to the negatives. Taylor Lautner can't act, he did seem like he was trying but it just was not working. Lily Collins was no better either playing a rather hollow role of the girlfriend. Why was Sigourney Weaver in this?
The plot of this movie was really stupid and the trailer is a bit misleading. There were quit a few plot holes left unexplained as the movie finished and the main purpose of the villain was given no thought into it at all. And the big question is why was it called Abduction, no one gets abducted.
