For the Transformers fan, their video games have rarely delivered the goods. Not too dissimilar to the movie franchise, the potential remains untapped.
Maybe that is set to change with High Moon Studios’ War for Cybertron.
Free from the restrictive shackles of a Hollywood script, the game returns to the origin of the franchise and promises to put the meat on the bones of the Transformers’ origins.
The fabulous-looking, two single player campaigns feature a Decepticon and Autobot story, charting the rise to leadership of both Megatron and Optimus Prime on the planet of Cybertron.
Transformers: War for Cybertron is loaded with multiplayer options that includes a classic “Team Deathmatch”, “Plant the Bomb” mission and “Powerstruggle”, the game’s equivalent of “Capture the Flag”.
