Come 2029, one mother of an asteroid does its best to carve a humongous chunk out of planet Earth.
As you were considered crucial to the future of mankind by powers that be, you were popped in an ‘ark’ and cryogenically frozen.
You’ve now awoken to discover something’s SNAFUed and you’re the sole brainiac left – yeah, groovy.
Battling amnesia, you team with other survivors staving off gangs, mutants and a tyrannical government regime that harbours an uncomfy interest in you.
Mostly an FPS, but with liberal chunks of wild vehicle combat reminiscent of Mad Max mixed in, a brand new graphics engine sees Rage looking absolutely stunning.
Isn’t it refreshing to know that the originators of Wolfenstein and Doom aren’t just sitting around idly on their bums counting cash.
