Join special ops. Travel the world. Meet lots of fascinating people. Kill them. Kicking off right from where the last Modern Warfare instalment wound up, those pesky fictional Russkies are continuing their invasion of a fictional USA (hey, we’d hate to offend anybody).
Things soon go global, as control shifts between various soldiers in various lands from Somalia to France, Dubai to the UK, all fighting the usually good fight. Yeah, that’s the single player, but multiplayer’s really where the CoD series is, and online operatives will dig improved missions such as ‘Kill Confirmed’, where your conquests don’t mean zot until you retrieve your victim’s dog tags.
Add tweaks that reward skill and more weapons than the Sons of Anarchy have ever trafficked, and the biggest is now even bigger.

Subject: Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3
People have complained how it's just a sequel with the "same old" formula.
I reply: So what if it is.
Sure it's not the best, but it is by far enjoyable. As a final chapter, the game perceives a campaign, allowing players to dive into the shoes of otherwise, remarkable heroes who extinguish waves of enemies under impossible odds. The multiplayer recycles the same formula of "run-and-kill", but isn't that what people fell in love with - a fast-paced, adrenaline-filled game equipped with perks, global maps and a lone hero stigma. Plus, there's survival method and special ops to play with your buddy.
My verdict: MW3 is a game famous for all the same right reasons.
However, the implementation of the Survival and Missions that can be played either solo or in co-op gives the single-players out there a whole new experience. Survival is a superb game to play with a mate and can be truly challenging.
You might shoot your way through 23 successive waves before you both get whacked, but the fact that you have to start right back at the beginning of the level takes me back to my younger days when games were actually hard. The Missions modes equally offer a great variety of bite-sized missions, that again, are best enjoyed with a buddy. Three difficulty levels increase the playability.
If you don't play online, these extras extend the single-player experience and help justify the ticket price.
