Damn, is it really 17 years since SoulCalibur IV? Of course it isn’t, although that many years have passed within its story world.
Sophitia’s feeling her age, so her son Patroklos and daughter Pyrrha have taken over the family business with the punching and kicking and ducking and weaving and such.
As fans will already know, this series is all about strategic fighting. Like most such games, those who are prepared to put the time into mastering their chosen fighter’s moves will be rewarded, although the devs have ensured that those who just want to leap in and mash will still have some fun.
