Slim Dusty would have to be the most famous of our country stars ever. He recorded over 100 albums in his eight decades of performing and was known for his hit A Pub With No Beer.
This is the follow-up to the very successful Not So Dusty tribute from 14 years ago, which hosted an eclectic mix of artists.
This release – as the title implies – features more traditional country artists performing popular and lesser known Dusty tunes in more his style.
A wonderful collection with a little bluegrass, western swing, honky tonk and bush ballad interpretations of one of this country’s best storytellers of Australia and its people.
