Having successfully revived Rocky Balboa for another round, Sylvester Stallone resurrects another of his signature roles, John Rambo, for a new generation.
In the years following 1988’s Rambo III, the former Vietnam vet and one man army is living a quiet life in the Burmese jungle catching snakes. After a group of foolhardy US missionaries disappear in the war-torn country, Rambo escorts a mercenary rescue team into enemy territory, only to find himself inevitably involved in the skirmish that follows.
Let the carnage begin! This R-rated Rambo takes no prisoners with a bodycount bigger than the entire Saw franchise as men, women and children are all brutally despatched and bodies explode or are eviscerated by machine gun fire in an insane, briskly paced action spectacle that has to be seen to be believed.
