Following on from the successful SBK-07, a cracking title that occupied our PSP for months, SBK-08 brings the racing franchise to the next-gen consoles.
We played an early build without environment and crowd definition, and our recommendation is to play the available tutorials if you want to stay on the bike.
Bike enthusiasts will have 12 authentic tracks to race on including Monza, Donnington, Magny-Cours and our very own Philip Island. The developers have attempted to simulate every aspect of the racing experience, from authentic gameplay to the inclusion of the official race teams and their respective riders.
There are six difficulty settings, ranging from novice rider to professional, that will have you challenging the likes of Max Biaggi. You can even tweak the game to make it more realistic, and subsequently harder. Players can jump right in to play a Quick Race, and stayers might want to consider the Championship campaign-styled option.
Players can also go head to head with the online multiplayer.
